The name of the OCCT tester comes from "OverClock Checking Tool." The tool can serve not only overclockers but also anyone who wants to check the strength of their microprocessor in extreme working conditions.
OCCT Features and Highlights:
- Supports up to 16 cores, for example, Quad-Kentsfield and Octo-Conroe (maybe it will work with them, but it can actually measure only 4 cores at the same time);
- Selectable tests (by duration, priority, processor or RAM, etc.);
- Detects the processor and the bottom and shows them in a very nice way in the so-called sleep mode;
- Monitoring is carried out by 3rd party programs (such as MBM5, SpeedFan, SysTool, or Everest Ultimate Edition 3.50 or higher) by calling the support program itself at the time of starting the test;
- Can display temperature and voltage readings in graphic form;
- Translation into many languages (20), including Bulgarian;
- And other extras.
It is necessary to set the program, leaving the standard 70 degrees for the maximum temperature and specifying between 35 and 48 degrees for the temperature of the core (cores). For utility, you can specify Built-in, SpeedFan 4.xx, or Everest Ultimate (or any of the above), but with Built-in, you will have the widest support.
When crossing the indicated upper limit of 70 degrees, you will hear a very funny sound, which you can replace with another not only in WAV but also in MP3 format. License: Freeware.
Changes in OCCT 11.0.20 Final:
Enterprise Fixed: The command-line edition would skip the prerequisite copy step if the GUI edition was never run on that computer.
